Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 8, 2026

This policy explains how Instill uses cookies and similar technologies when you use our Service.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They are used to maintain sessions, preferences, and other state between page loads.

Cookies we use

We only use essential cookies — cookies that are strictly necessary for the Service to function. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.

Authentication storage

Your authentication token is stored in your browser's localStorage, not in a cookie. It is sent to our API as an Authorization: Bearer header on each request.

Third-party cookies

Our hosting provider (Vercel) may set its own cookies as part of preview deployments and platform health checks. These are subject to its privacy policy.

Your choices

Because we only use essential cookies, the Service cannot function correctly without them. You may disable cookies and local storage in your browser settings, but this will prevent you from staying signed in.
