By using Instill ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

Instill is a platform for creating and serving AI skills via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). You may use the Service for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to store or distribute illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt the Service
• Use automated means to scrape or abuse the API beyond normal usage

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at hi@getinstill.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Content

You retain ownership of all content (skills, files, instructions) you create in Instill. You grant us a limited license to store and serve this content as necessary to provide the Service.

We do not claim ownership of your skills or use them for any purpose other than operating the Service.

4. Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

5. Free Service

Instill is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future, with notice provided to existing users.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email.
